About Me

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Weber State University. I've gained hands-on experience through work experience, internships, and a full-time service mission, where I took on a variety of technical and leadership assignments. I'm especially interested in programming and cybersecurity, and I plan to pursue a master's degree in cybersecurity. I enjoy exploring how technology can solve real-world problems and am excited to keep growing my skills in both development and security.

Help Desk Technician II — MarketStar

Jun 2025 – Present

After being promoted to a Tech II role, I continue supporting users across the company with troubleshooting and system support—now with the added responsibility of handling escalations from Tech I team members when issues go beyond their scope. In addition to supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS, managing accounts in Microsoft and Google environments, administering FreshService, and assisting with sales tools, I now serve as a go-to resource for complex problems and provide guidance to newer technicians.

Data Analytics Internship — MarketStar

Jan 2025 – Apr 2025

I designed and implemented a technology dashboard using Power BI for internal business use. This involved integrating data from FreshService, Intune, and a hardware lease list. I set up data APIs, used SQL to transform and prepare data, and applied Power Query and DAX to shape and analyze the data for visualization.

Help Desk Technician I — MarketStar

Jun 2023 – May 2025

I provided global technical support through phone, email, and chat, helping troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS devices. I worked in Microsoft and Google environments and managed user accounts for the Dialpad calling platform. I was temporarily in charge of managing sales tools including Gong, Outreach, Salesforce, NeverBounce, and Apollo. I also handled imaging and deploying devices and performed junior system admin tasks in Active Directory. Recently, I was made the tech admin over the FreshService ticketing system, responsible for API maintenance, workflows, and user permissions.

Service Missionary — BYU-Pathway Worldwide

Nov 2022 – Jun 2023

I served as a Tier 2 Tech Support Specialist, troubleshooting escalated technical issues regarding account access, system errors, and the Pathway portal. I contributed to internal automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

Service Missionary — FamilySearch

Oct 2021 – Jun 2023

I provided technical support and maintenance for over 100 computers and digitizing equipment at the Layton FamilySearch Center. I trained incoming missionaries on equipment support and taught classes for guests on navigating the FamilySearch platform.

I served in leadership roles including Assistant to the President and Zone Leader. I worked in Global Services, International Computer Services, and the Service Mission Office Tech Team. Responsibilities included imaging and deploying computers and providing tech support for Windows, macOS, Android, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.

Software Developer Intern — hh2 Cloud Services

Sep 2020 – Jul 2021

I worked as a back-end development intern primarily in C++ and wrote SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server. I later expanded into front-end development, learning JavaScript and HTML.

Projects

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have developed a variety of technical solutions. My projects range from creating data visualization dashboards using Power BI (leveraging SQL, PowerQuery, and DAX) or Python/Bash, to developing automation scripts for enterprise system management. I have also built full-stack applications using .NET(C#), Flutter(Dart), and other modern web technologies.
